I just love those Clydesdales and to have the Anheuser Busch facility in Merrimack NH is wonderful. And now we have the Clydesdale Training team coming to the Merrimack NH facility...
We are getting ready to take our Fall trip over there and walk the stables and meet some of the Clydesdales again.
And we just heard that the Clydesdale Training Program is moving to the Merrimack NH facility.
Oh
boy oh boy. More of these gentle giants coming to Merrimack and
hopefully they will open up the training sessions to the public.
These big boys and girls can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and eat 40 pounds of hay a day.
The large draft horses have been a part of Anheuser-Busch and its
Budweiser beer for almost 80 years.
Company records reveal that August
A. Busch Jr. formally introduced the horses in 1933 to celebrate the end
of Prohibition.
Who doesn't love watching these beautiful animals and the great commercials they make, like the snowball fight the Clydesdales had one year during the Super Bowl.
