Nashua NH's Goddard School Fun with Simon Says and Guinness Book of World Records Entry
Nashua NH children had a fun game of Simon Says at the Goddard School in Nashua NH recently. They also are waiting to see if they were successful in setting a world record for Simon Says.
The Nashua NH kids, aged 1 to 6 years old were touching toes and doing jumping jacks as Simon said, all outside with the threat of rain.
the event was closely supervised to be sure the rules were followed, that a minimum number of children started the game and that they played for at least 10 minutes to qualify for the record.
As the game progressed the calls became a little more difficult. There was some hip shaking, animal sounds and more.
Nashua NH Goddard School owner Tom Murphy said the
super-sized game was about more than getting the school’s name in the
record books, it was about furthering the everyday principles of the
school.
“We really want to get the children, their families, and
the teachers to interact,” he said. “In essence, we are encouraging a
dialogue between the families and ourselves.” Nashua Telegraph
This sounds like fun, I wish we had been there to see this.
