Christmas in Amherst village is truly a special event. The Amherst NH homes are sparkling with their white lights and holiday decorations. This is a busy time with many wonderful
activities centered around the Village Green including Pony Rides,
Concerts, Christmas Stories, Santa of course, even Chestnuts Roasting on An
Open Fire, and the tree lighting ceremony. This is celebrated this year Sunday December
